Twitchers Retreat Terms and Conditions

 

Payment, Cancellation and No Show
A deposit of £30 payable by cheque/postal order is required when booking. We will then send confirmation once the money has cleared. If a cheque used to cover payment is returned, we will cancel the booking and seek recovery of the bank charges (£25). If the booking is cancelled in the seven days leading up to arrival and we cannot relet the room we reserve the right to keep the deposit. The balance of the booking to be paid either by cheque supported by the appropriate guarantee card or cash on arrival.

Arrival and Access
Your room will be available from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival. Should you require earlier acccess please talk to us and we will do our best to assist. You will be issued a set of keys when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at £10 per set.

Departure
Please vacate your room by 10.30 on the day of departure to allow us time to make it ready for the next guests

Damages and Breakages
We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests' personal effects or property whilst staying at Twitchers Retreat bed and breakfast. We appreciate that accidents do happen and request that any breakages or damage in the room are advised to us. Where items are damaged in a manner that is not through normal use, or items are stolen, then we will seek to reclaim costs to replace the items.

Smoking
Please note that we are a non-smoking bed and breakfast. We reserve the right to seek compensation (including consequential loss) for any damage and additional costs of cleaning (such as curtains, blinds, bedding etc) caused by a guest 'smoking' within the the bed and breakfast. Consequential costs may be incurred where it is not possible to remove the smell of smoke from the room prior to the arrival of the next guest who subsequently demands compensation from ourselves.
