Big Changes at Twitchers Retreat

Holiday Let coming soon.

Twitchers Retreat is no longer operating as a Bed and Breakfast.

We will shortly be re-opening as a Holiday Let, so watch this space!

Twitchers Retreat is just a few minutes walk from Snettisham RSPB reserve and the unspoilt beach, you can be sure of a warm welcome from your friendly hosts.

Our garden is teeming with wildlife and birders will marvel at the activities of our resident Barn Owls and migratory Turtle Doves when they visit Twitchers Retreat between May and August.

Accessible Well Lit Car Park

Twitchers Retreat has its own well lit car park.

We have a gravelled and paved area and drop off point with a ramp for easy access.

We are close to many Norfolk attractions including beautiful countryside walks, Royal Sandringham House and woods, not forgetting the wild and rugged West Norfolk coastline along The Wash.

We are a short drive away from Titchwell RSPB reserve, Welney Wetland Centre – famous for its swans, Sculthorpe Moor nature reserve near Fakenham, famous for it’s Race Course. With nearby Cley and Holt, wildlife lovers are spoilt for choice!

The seaside town of Hunstanton is 4 miles away with its beautiful beaches and rugged cliffs, whilst Kings Lynn with its extensive shops is 12 miles away.

Daffodils at our Bed and BreakfastThe Garden
You are welcome to relax in the peaceful garden. There is a pond and seating areas for you to sit and enjoy the sights. Spy the activities of our resident Barn Owls and migratory Turtle Doves when they visit.  There are Australian ferns and other exotic plants intertwined with the familiar cottage garden plants and shrubs. We have a large aviary with canaries and diamond doves which sing and coo attracting wild birds into the garden and on the many feeders.
